Scope and limitations

This calculator only converts a known base development time for temperature and the selected agitation method.

Developer capacity, reuse, replenishment and compensation between successive films are not calculated. These depend on the specific developer, dilution, film stock, tank volume and manufacturer's instructions or your own validated tests.

Stand and semi-stand development, highly diluted chemistry and alternative developers may not follow the same temperature curve as conventional black-and-white processes.

Reference check

A base time of 8:00 at 20 °C should convert to approximately 5:30 at 24 °C. With Jobo enabled, the result should be approximately 4:45 after rounding.
