Inspired by the battle these
surfers bring against nature.
Amplifying this by
developing old photo rolls
with marine algae and/or seawater

2015 - 2019

"Interminably Waiting"
Searching for apocalyptic symbolisme,
on a trip through italy I started to collect
visual scenes that possesed an apocalyptic atmosphere.
The story I imagined that the world was at an end.
If they got the chance, how would they visualise scenes?
To stay within the story
I collected al kinds off shrubbery, rosemary , stinging nettle,
and other hard to beat herbs.
Using them in my development process.

2017 - 2018

"Sleeper"
The dreamtheory is build up in 3 components.
The latent content,
a direct reflection of the underlined message
And the manifestation is the literal imagery of the dream.
Memorable scenes & icons from the conscious world
, manifest themself as pieces into our own unconscious dreamworld.
I wanted to explore how these manifestations could be visualised
All the films are developed with botanical icons, suh as the
magnolia flower, roses and the dictamnus a mythological
'love plant'.

"Love Factory"
This serie is my personal love diary.
It's a journey through the different shapes
of love and tenderness in landscapes and subjects
This is an ever ongoing series through my life.
All the photo's have been developed with petals
of rosa, magnolia, japonica and other botanical love icons.
